 Cheraman Group is established with a vision to become a proactive and a dynamic value based financial service institution, providing innovative & unique financial solutions, whilst building credibility leading to sustainable growth and profitability to all stakeholders. The group is headed by Cheraman Financial Services Ltd. Cheraman Financial Services Ltd has been established with equity participation of M/s Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation and private investors, mostly Gulf based NRIs. The group strives to achieve the vision through the following business verticals:

Cheraman Financial Services Ltd : The group carries out financial leasing and equity funding activities through this vertical.

Cheraman Funds Management Ltd : This business vertical is established to provide equity funding to viable ventures, both for startup entities as also for expansion of existing entities in various industry verticals. The SEBI registered category II Cheraman Fund is carrying out the alternative investment fund activities. The first scheme of the fund has a corpus of  2,500 million ( 250 Crores). The Fund focuses on manufacturing and service sectors of the country. This initiative is expected to provide the much needed impetus to manufacturing and service sectors of the state. Cheraman Funds Management Ltd undertakes the investment management activities of the Fund.

Cheraman Infrastructure Pvt Ltd : This business vertical focuses on infrastructure development activities through Built Operate & Transfer (BOT) and other related modes. Projects are already underway for development of few commercial spaces.Cheraman Financial Services Ltd carries out the NBFC operations. The company is registered with RBI as a non-deposit taking NBFC*. The group carries out financial leasing and equity funding activities through this vertical on a pan India basis. The company initially focuses on healthcare and construction equipments, IT equipments, commercial vehicles and industrial machineries for leasing.

Lease Finance  

CFSL provides leasing of medical equipments, construction equipments, IT equipments vehicles & manufacturing equipments.  

Lease finance up to 80%  of the asset value depending on customer & equipment nature

 Lease tenure up to 5 years depending on the nature of the asset.

 Leasing of used/refurbished equipments.  

Flexible lease rents like monthly, quarterly, step up, step down & moratorium in certain cases.  

Flexible documentation and easy processing

Transparent Schemes with no hidden charges

Funding for a wide range of customer profiles

Equity Finance

This business vertical provides equity funding to viable ventures, both for startup entities as also for expansion of existing entities in various industry verticals.  The Fund is sector agnostic, however the preferred sectors are Healthcare and allied Services,  Food Processing,  Alternative building materials, Education, Hospitality, IT/ITES, Logistics and Water and Clean Technologies.  We invest in the form of equity, Optionally Convertible Debentures (OCD)/ Optionally Convertible Cumulative Preferential Shares (OCCPS), etc. The exact instrument varies from case to case depending on the risk perception and the requirements of the investee company.  The investment horizon varies from within 5 years with the option for a quicker exit incase the situation so warrants.
