GLOBAL HALAL EXPO INDIA 2018  Co-Located with India Foodex 2018

Media Today Group, a 22 year old company, is engaged in organizing exhibitions and also publishes trade magazines like Agribusiness & Food Industry , Floriculture Today , Oils & Fats Today and a newspaper AgriTech India.

The Year 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of India Foodex and AgriTech India events of Media Today Group. The event series, the  largest forum of Food Products, Retailing, Import-Export, Processing and Packaging technologies is being held at Bangalore International Exhibition Center (BIEC), Bangalore  during 31st August 2018 to 2nd September 2018.

The previous edition of the event series in 2017 witnessed participation from 30 countries and over 450 Indian and International companies displayed their products, machinery and equipment, technologies etc which was appreciated by more than 35000 trade visitors and buyers from several countries.

Considering the fact that India is home to  around 172 million strong Muslim population, it is in the fitness of things that the developments of Halal – the Islamic way of life – needs to be appropriately projected to the world for a realistic and better understanding of the values and virtues of this unique system. Therefore, alongside this 10th India Foodex 2018 and 10th AgriTech India 2018 event series, we are launching a new vertical “Global Halal Expo India 2018  which will highlight on foods based on Halal system. This is a great opportunity since the event will witness participation from a vast expanse of trade visitors and general public apart from high ranking government officials and diplomatic corps from the local missions of various countries. According to a recent report it has been estimated that the global expenditure of Muslim consumers on food and lifestyle sectors is expected to reach $3.7 trillion by 2019, growing at a CAGR of 10.8%.
